What happens if my butter melts in the heat?
Our butters are whipped to create their light, airy texture. Each tin is filled to the brim at the time of packing. In warm weather, they may melt during shipping and resolidify with less visible volume because the air from the whip escapes. Rest assured, the same amount of butter is still inside and just as nourishing. If this happens, simply place the tin upright in a cool space and let it resolidify. The texture may feel different, but the smooth, moisturizing benefits remain intact.
How do I apply body butter so it doesn’t transfer to clothes or sheets?
For best results, apply after a shower while your skin is still slightly damp. Rub the butter in fully until it’s absorbed. Let it sit a moment before dressing—especially with lighter fabrics. Once absorbed, it won’t transfer to clothing or bedding.
Can I use Mayana’s Body Butters on my face?
Yes, though a little goes a long way. Warm a small amount in your hands, then gently tap onto your face in a thin layer. Use sparingly and adjust as you discover what feels best for your skin.
